I saw these on a friend and had to know what they were. I asked my mother-in-law for a pair for Christmas but they instantly stretched out way too big for me! I was so disappointed. Because they were too big, they rubbed up and down the back of my heel as I walked and gave me blisters. They felt like flip-flops. I think they are a whole size bigger than I usually wear and now I have to buy another pair and throw these away. Other than that, I love the shoe and would wear them every day if I could.

I've had the same pair of Sperrys for years and love them, but I do NOT recommend them if you are looking for something slip resistant. You would think with them being "boat shoes" they would be, but no. I've slipped on water at work once and landed in the opposite direction on my butt. Socks are a must in these shoes, as the heels on these are hard, for lack of a better word, and they tend to rub. Other than that, these shoes are great.
