I was familiar with the classic deck shoe, but wanted something a bit more formal that I could wear to the office. This shoes works well for many occasions, and is comfortable too.

I bought this shoe for work and travel as it is a bit dressier than the traditional boat shoe. My work environment is mostly business casual and the Blue Point Venetain model fits right in. Although true to width and size, it is a little snugger than I like to wear my lace-up boat shoes. This is mainly an issue when putting on (you can't just step into them). Once on, they are very comfortable.
