We couldn't find a sturdy, waterproof, hiking boot with good treads for our toddler girl, so we went with this "boy's" shoe. It is great.
Wears this shoe: When the grass is wet, when it is raining, hiking with Daddy, anytime.

I love that Sperry makes a boot in Wide, I find that is difficult to find. Great boot for bad weather. My son says it feels good.

This is a really really great shoe. We bought it for our 3 year old to tramp around a New Mexico Ranch for a week. It survived that and barely has a few scuffs. He was scaling fences and hiking among big rocks. The waterproof element is simply a plus. Very durable and very comfortable.

I bought this show because I was looking for a sturdy velcro boot that could withstand the abuse of my active three year old. This boot has accomplished its mission! My son loves the boots; they are very comfortable, tough and very fashionable. He has worn them to school and the park several times and they still look brand new. We had a pair of Sperry's before and they held up very nicely - these are doing the same. I would reccommend this shoe to everyone.
