Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I bought this shoe for price and good looks and got what I expected. The problem with this shoe is that the heavy rubber border has no give for my semi wide foot. In order to stretch the width I made wood wedges and forced them in (like a shoe tree) to over-power an stretch the rubber boarder. I can now wear them and they look good but this is a basic oversite with the manufacturer considering the materials used and foot anatomy.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width They are a great comfortable shoe I've wearing these shoes for 15 years and have had no problems except for the last two pair. When you get them wet it seems to help. I still like the look and feel of the shoe.

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width Great looking shoe and very comfortable. It has little or no support so I wouldn't recommend taking them hiking. They truly are a safe boat shoe.

What a deck shoe is supposed to be August 24, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought this shoe to replace an old pair of AO Top Siders. I sail 12 months out of the year so I wear deck shoes every week. This is a great looking and casual summer boating shoe. Also, since I wear a size 15 it's nice that it came in my size. The other positive is that the sock liner/insole is removable which allows me to insert an arch supporting insole. In fact, this shoe is preferable for that reason. My AO's did not have a removable sock liner/insole and are really hard on my feet for walking. Even though they put some cushioning in the heel area after a while it compresses and becomes flat and useless.
