I love the Spenco orthotics, but I don't buy the thin ones. Shoebuy also carries regular Spenco orthotics, and they are excellent. I couldn't wear the expensive custom orthotics I got, but these are comfortable and keep me from severe foot pain. I did walking tours or Rome and Florence in May, and I could never have done that without my Spenco's.

My insurance no longer covers orthodics. Years ago, a podiatrist suggested I try the Spenco orthodics, and they worked pretty well then. I was disappointed in them when they arrived in the mail. They are not nearly as supportive or made as well as they were 15 years ago, plus they are more than twice the price! For my particular foot problem, they are not the answer. I can't afford custom made orthodics, so I guess my feet will just have to hurt!

My podiatrist recommended this to help treat my plantar fasciitis. This works really nicely even when compared to prescribed fitted orthotics, and doesn't cost nearly as much. I've been pleased with the feel and the ease of moving from shoe to shoe.

I have used Spenco Orthotics for several years. I always had fallen arches, and walked with the toes pointed out slightly but by using the Spencos in my shoes for several years, I made a permanent change to my foot, and now I have a near normal gait. I bought the thinsole models because some of my shoes don't have room for the thicker ones. They can also be shaped a little more by heating with a heat gun. I fully intend to try sometime in the future.
