There are great. I wear a women's medium 9.5 running shoe, but the 9-10 orthotic is too big and too wide, so I've been happy with the women's 7-8. I now own 4 pair, because I got tired of moving them from shoe to shoe. These fit my foot and my arch position much better than the computer measured $425 orthotics made by the podiatrist, and she admitted it. These are firm, give mild arch support, prevent unnecessary twisting of my feet, and have helped my plantar fasciitis tremendously. These do not have padded heels. Shoebuy packs each little pack of orthotics in a very big sturdy manuscript size box. I ordered 3 pair, and instead of packing all three in one manuscript box, there were 3 boxes and a bunch of brown packing paper all packed into an even bigger box. Maybe it saves time on packing the order, but what a ridiculous waste of cardboard, postage, airplane or truck fuel, etc.
