Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought these because I really can't wear heels no matter how many different types I try. I wore them to my husband's holiday party and will also be wearing them in my sister's wedding. After about 4 hours of wear the straps across the big toe was digging in a bit, but it wasn't that bad, I will put a band-aid on ahead of time next time I wear them. I originally bought a size 9 which is my normal size, but returned them for an 8 and a half.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width As a young senior with small feet but significant bunions, I consider the Shannon ideally suited to my need. I discovered this style just in the nick of time. Its heel makes it seem dressier than a flat, yet doesn't require gymnastics for walking or dancing. Although the Shannon might be considered to fit within the "strappy sandal" class, its straps are sufficiently wide and well-placed NOT to cut into my bunions (but, actually, to "cradle" them!). No foot discomfort whatsoever was noted during the several hours of wearing this shoe. The only negatives that I must note are that the fabric is listed as "satin" (shiny surface) but actually is the peau de soie (matte surface) that I prefer and (more critically) that the sole material of the heel is hard plastic, which nearly sent me flying to a crash-landing on smooth hard indoor floors until I reached pavement where I could roughen their surface somewhat for slightly better traction. (A few cents more per shoe to provide a much safer walking surface on the heel would be a wise and welcomed investment by Saugus Shoe in their Special Occasions line and all of their footwear!)

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I wore this shoe when I was in a wedding a couple weeks ago. They stayed on for about 6 hours and were comfortable throughout the entire evening. I had only one small irritation on one ankle, but there was a lot of dancing. It was true to size and color. I am very satisfied with these shoes.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This was purchased for my sister-in-law. However, she really loved the shoes and said they are very comfortable. Her only issue is that after a little while, the straps began to dig in and rub her feet raw and she switched into her tennis shoes at the wedding. These are recommended for a lady that wears dress shoes on a consistent basis (she is not used to dress shoes of any type) and has gel liners for the straps.
