Ultimate for warm feet.
By Carolyn, from New Zealand | August 15, 2011
Love these boots, warm, comfy, easy to walk in and did I say WARM!!! Exactly what I was after. I purchased these boots as I find my gumboots cold for when out with my horses etc. All the other boots I have found that are to be warm and handle wet rugged conditions are very bulky, heavy on my feet and make walking hard work!!! These are PERFECT in the mud and recent snow we have had, warm and light on the feet.

Warm, practical, and totally stylish
By Linda, from Michigan | December 27, 2010
I love my boots...while they are stiff when you first receive them, they get more comfortable upon wearing. They keep your feet warm while giving some space to wear heavier socks. I wear them with my 'office clothes' and can wear with jeans as well. I have a larger calf (16") and was worried if they would fit, they did! I found a tip for zipping them past your calf. If you use a step, place your foot on the step and lean back...this allows for the zipper to move down towards your ankle and gives you just enough room to finish the zip! Wonderful product that can be wore most everywhere.

sorel helen of tundra
By big mama, from quebec | August 28, 2010
I bought it for my departure for Canada (from France) and I was searching for fashion winter shoes. It wasn't easy but Sorel saved me of this deal and I'm very happy about it. Maybe they seems like big for the foot when I saw it but anyway they're winter shoes and it's normal, the most important is to protect and be practical. So , no problem with it, I just wait to use it in winter and to see what is the temperature "maximum" as I can wear.

So cute
By Nicki, from Ann Arbor, Michigan | February 01, 2010
I bought this boot specifically because the winters in Michigan can be treacherous but I still want a cute boot to traverse in. I think it's just as cute as the picture- I got the white/brown style. It's super warm and I love that it's so easy to put on. The zipper is more handy than any ties! The only downfall about the shoe is that it definitely gave me blisters the first few times I wore it. However, I expected that, and a lot of boots will do that to you. Still, I love them! I get so many compliments.

I ordered these boots for snowshoeing. They are perfect, narrow enough to fit in bindings and tall enough to keep my legs warm and dry and snow out! They are not heavy either, and are light enough to just trek along! I love them! I own two other pairs of Sorel boots and they make great quality and very stylish boots. They've come a long way since my original big clunky pair my husband bought me 20 years ago.

Eye stopper!
By Cynthia, from Chicago | January 26, 2010
This boot is comfortable after you initially get in on. I actually wear a 11 W, however the Tundra was only available in a 11 or 12. I tried the 11, and once you get it on it feels very comfortable. I did have difficulty putting them on the first time, but after several wears they are much easier. Thick sock wearers may want to order a size larger, but you really do not need thick socks because this boot keeps your feet warm in below zero weather, and in knee deep snow. I live in Chicago, and got tired of my feet getting wet and cold in slush and snow, and with these boots my feet are so comfortable and warm I only need thin socks. The are absolutely eye stoppers, so many people have asked where I bought these boots from, and there are no stores in the Chicago area that I know of that sell them. These boots are definitely worth the money. I have been looking at other Sorel boots and plan on buying so more.

Helen Wouldn't Last Long on the Tundra...
By AlaskaMom, from Juneau, AK | January 02, 2010
I bought this to replace my Acorn Sheepskin boots, which were great in winter, but tended to leak wading through slushy spring thaws. Haven't evaluated the water tightness of these yet, but my toes got so cold walking on light snow that I had to go indoors after less than 2 hours --and the temp was Above Zero! I need boots that will hold up to much colder temps for longer than that! I am disappointed in Sorel; they used to make better quality products. Shoebuy had a good price, so I guess I'll keep these for going to Church or something, but I'm going back to Acorns for outdoor activities.

Women's Sorel Helen of Tundra
By Leanna, from Colorado | December 30, 2009
Love the boot. This is a fabulous snowboat and the style looks great. It is just what I wanted. I am a size 5 wide. The boot is a true size 5 and even though it is a medium width it is comfortable. There is enough room if you have wide feet.
