I bought a Sorel because the brand was recommended to me for a good boot to have for winter. This specific model was a good seller, so I went with what's considered the best Sorel. It is really amazing.

Fed up with cold, wet feet at pony club events with the kids etc. Decided I needed a good quality winter boot. The Conquest have exceeded my expectations, they really are so warm and comfortable. Having skinny legs and large (ish) feet means that many boots are not the perfect fit, the Conquest are not perfect for my leg/foot size and the gator top of the boot is a little loose around my calves. All in all they are a great price, sturdy warm and waterproof so far and I would highly recommend.

I purchased a boot exactly like this one twelve years ago and I loved it. The old boot is still in very good condition and I use it every winter In Northern Michigan and norther Minnesota. I purchased another one recently because I was worried that Sorel may stop the production of this particular boot. This boot is warm, comfortable while is not bulky and heavy.

Used boots in deep snow with thick wool socks (ordered half size larger for this). Stayed in the cold for entire day and feet were dry, warm, and comfortable. Good craftsmanship with attention to detail.

My husband has had 2 pairs of these boots and he loves them both. He is a ice maker in the winter here in Canada and a gardener the rest of the year. They really keep his feet dry and warm. A+++
