Not waterproof

They are not waterproof. After getting them last fall for ice fishing I started wearing them late into autumn after temperature dropped to 30s F. Right away I noticed that they leak water. So I complained to Sorel. They agreed to accept and inspect them if I shell out for shipping to their warehouse in France. So I did. They inspected the boots and determined that they are faulty and sent me a new replacement pair. Right away I decided to check if they are waterproof so I immersed them in couple inches of water. One of the boots was taking water like a sieve. It was full of water in matter of minute. So it's a shame on Sorel part for peddling such poor quality product.

Swift transaction and prompt delivery. Efficient customer service and all around high standard and positive commercial behaviour. The Sorel Boot I ordered for extreme snow and cold we experience in the Bavarian winter. The boots are warm, tough and comfortable once broken in. Only down side is the strings and rings that don't seem to trap the lace well so that they slip. It takes time for the boot to settle and lace to hook well. Other than this minor comment the boots are excellent.
