The purple shoe was a perfect match for my never before worn, still-has-the-price-tag purple dress with beadwork on the bodice. When I first put my foot in the shoe I thought, oh no, they're not going to work for me. But, wore them while ironing my dress to go out for my birthday dinner and in minutes I was very comfortable in them. Wore them to dinner and the theater this evening and was not limping when I arrived home. The strap does not come anywhere close to the instep, but does not block view of "toe cleavage" which seems to be important to some women. I have a very high arch and have difficulty finding shoes that work for me, so I am doubly thrilled that my first online shoe purchase has been a success. I am going to be the envy of all my Red Hat chapter sisters with these purple shoes!!
