I ordered a 1/2 size smaller because people had commented that it felt larger. It was way too tight. I'm sending it back for a larger, wider size. Toe box felt tight. I hope the wider size will solve the problem.

I wear an eight narrow and found the shoe to be true to size. This is my fourth pair of SoftWalk shoe; so I know that they need to be broken in. I wear them around the house with a little heavier sock than I would normally wear with them. The only problem that I found is that my heel slips out of the shoe when I walk. In my opinion the tumbled leather is more attractive than the smooth leather that this shoe comes in.
Wears this shoe: For casual wear with slacks.

This is a quality shoe. It is extremely comfortable. I chose it in a wide width as I am usually in pain as I break in new shoes. My only disappointment now is it may be too large. They feel loose when I walk. I would try a half size smaller next time.

These are like heaven, as all softwalk are, and are SO cute, but as soon as you wear socks with them, my feet slide right out, and I've already sent back my normal size and gotten a size smaller...I'm not sure what to do at this point. I really wanted them to work for me!

I ordered a 7-1/2 but have to return them because my heel slips out when I walk. Other than that, they seem very comfortable, but I hesitate to order in a 7.
