I was looking for a comfortable, wide-width shoe that I could wear with slacks. These shoes were a pleasant surprise. The shoes are very comfortable and work very well with slacks. I am very pleased with them. I had ordered several other pairs of shoes from a number of on-line shoe companies. These were the only ones I did not return. I took them with me on a trip and found I could walk long distances without discomfort.

I bought this shoe to fulfill the covered toe-requirement at work where I stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours a shift. I am heavy and move constantly. I have worn another shoe(they do not make the same footbed in a covered-toe shoe) for 2 years and am accustomed to the standing.The foot bed is flexible enough on this Lavagna but is not cushioned for this amount of standing. The soles do have enough traction for our non-carpeted workspace. The Lavagna appearance is very cute but I was not in the market for an off-duty shoe. I am returning the 2 unworn pairs of this brand.I am disappointed that I have to keep searching.
Wears this shoe: Off days when not much stranding or walking is required.

This is the second pair of softwalks I have owned. The first pair were awesome which is why I came back for another pair. This shoe is comfortable but took a few wears to become so and I still don't wear it all day as it feels tight over the toe box after a few hours. I buy from another country so basically it is not worth returning them and I am sure they will get better with more wear. They look nice and I will wear them to work with pants.

Like the look of the shoe, it seemed a little snugwith the puffy insole. It may be better when worn a little bigger.

These shoes are comfy right out of the box. I like the spongy footbed,just wish there was more arch support.I bought these for travel and although I haven't been on my trip yet,I know they will serve me well.Dressy enough to wear on a business class flight, yet comfortable enough to stand and walk in for hours.The strap across helps them stay on your feet too, so you don't have to struggle to keep them on as you walk. Not sure how they will fare in hot climates when feet sweat, but that was why I chose sling backs to keep my feet cooler.So far I really like them.
