I have now found that Softspots runs quite small and unfortunatly I had to return both pairs because of it. I wear an 11 wide and I could not event get my foot into the shoe (I felt like the cinderella step sisters with the glass slipper).

This is a very comfortable shoe and I had tried about 6 different pair before landing on this one. The heel isn't too high for my bad back but still dressy enough to go well with dress slacks and skirts which is what I use it for. I wore it with jeans the other day and a black blazer and got lots of compliments. The shoe felt just very slightly too wide but I have a very wide foot and ordered accordingly and, since most of the wide shoes I tried on were too narrow, this one felt heavenly. I have purchased many pairs of softspots over the years and they hold up well, they don't stretch and are very very comfortable.

I am very happy with these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and a bad knee so I can't wear too many styles. I wanted a comfortable shoe that would also look dressy and these are just perfect. Heel height is just right. I do use gel heel cushions inside and that adds to my heel comfort.

These shoes are made well and good looking. Besides all that, they are very comfortable. I have wide feet and these shoes are much nicer than most wide width shoes.
