I always loved this shoe, have had 3 pairs previously, but sadly, there'll be no more. It no longer feels like a shoe you have had for years right out of the box. It needed breaking in, has thin, stiff leather & a very hard, noisy, sole. Even the fit is different,it now feels long & narrow like the last has also been changed. The only difference I have been able to figure out is, when I called about it,I was told it is being made overseas now. It is no wonder companies go out of business. When manufacturing gets transferred to a place where a massive amount of production is the norm, quality tanks & people quit buying that product, then the company has to close. And, sadly, they never seem to learn. I'd return them if I hadn't already worn them.

My mother has been buying these shoes for years. She has a new pair in black and wanted a new pair in beige to replace the pair she has owned for three years. much to her dismay when she opened the box they were not beige but a greyish green. Since they were a Christmas gift she decided not to complain and said that she would use them around the house. Aside from the hideous color, they fit and feel very comfortable.

I have worn Softspots Annie Hi shoes for years. My podiatrist told me it was the best shoe for my feet. Shoebuy.com has been a life saver, because just recently the one retail source I had discontinued Softspots shoes. I am involved in volunteer work and the shoes keep me going all day.
