I was in a rehab facility for 3 months after a serious fall. I was unable to bend down to tie my shoes and this shoe was the perfect solution because of the velcro strap. So much so that it was recommended to the PT's at the facility who shared the information with other female patients. I also received many compliments on the style. In addition, it was necessary for me not to have rubber soled shoes, so in that respect this shoe was also the perfect fit.

I bought these shoes for my 94-year-old who likes them, but feels they are a bit too heavy compared to her other pair of soft-spots that have the shoelaces. She needed shoes without shoelaces, and although these are the same brand, they are a bit heavier.
Wears this shoe: My mother would wear this shoe on a daily basis.
I have special needs for my shoes.

I have enjoyed wearing Softspot shoes for many years. However, now, the sizing isn't always true to size. I had ordered two other pairs of Angie shoes before finding a pair that fit. This pair gives good support. The heel is a litle looser than I like (I have narrow heels), but the strap on the shoe helps to overcome the problem. Fortunalely Shoebuy allows free shipping and return so I was able to find this pair which are very comfortable.
