My ankles swell and I was not only looking for something which I could adjust, but a shoe which was comfortable to walk in, as well. The soles are hard and the shoes are anything but, what I was seeking.

These shoes are for my mom, in a nursing home. She has a very small foot and it was good to be able to find the right size with the Soft Spots brand.
Wears this shoe: My mom wears this pair all the time.
