I debated buying the black/black patent shoe in this style but I am very happy with the pewter/black patent. In retrospect the black/black might be a little boring but the colour contrast on the pewter makes this a very elegant-looking shoe. Of three similarly styled pairs of shoes these fit slightly larger and are the most comfortable, despite having the tallest heel. The only disadvantage is that the laces like to work their way loose unless you really tighten the knot when you tie them.

I never, ever wear high heels, but have a couple of events coming up, so I gave these shoes a try. Remarkably comfortable! The Mary Jane ties lodge your feet nicely into the shoe, and the sole is well padded. Good foot support. They feel wide enough, but for me, I never really know if my little toes will get the squeeze until several hours into wearing the shoe--hopefully there will be no problem. These shoes are super cute on and beautifully made. Hint of a retro look. My sister who is far more fashionable than I am, gave them an enthusiastic two thumbs up, and my husband likes them too. All in all, I am very pleased with these shoes and can't wait to wear them!

Comfort in a heel this hight has been almost impossible for me to find...Cute and you can change to ribbon for ties. Back to comfort...I found a gold-mine with this Pump. I purchased both this pump and the other one and even my daughter liked them so I bought her a pair each black and brown...She loves them and now shops Shoe buy herself. At work others liked them so much that they ask me for the web-site's address and now shop online also.PERFECT PUMP for those long slacks or skirts!

I absolutely adore this shoe. I purchased it to wear to a wedding, wanting simple styling & comfort, and that's exactly what I got. The shoe is beautiful, stylish, not trendy, comfortable, was able to wear the shoes for hours soon after I received them. I would buy them in every color if they were available, great for work or to dress up in, super happy with my purchase!
