I have had Smart Wool socks before. They fit beautifully, come in shades that I want, launder perfectly, and stay up. This was the first time I tried the lighter weight sock, which is very comfortable for warmer weather.I love the cable pattern. I would like to find a non-animal source that works as well, but until I do, these are the best.
Can't beat warm feet.

These socks are very warm and comfortable. I wore them with hiking boots in the chilly mountains of Mexico. They were great. No shoe rub and no cold feet.

I bought these socks with high expectations after really liking other socks by this manufacturer. These are a disappointment. Even though the lycra content is pretty high, these socks don't stay up! They ended up bunched up under my foot making them very uncomfortable.
