These are just the right thickness, keep feet ventilated and odorless while providing warmth. They wash and dry quickly, good for travel.

The socks are warm, and thin enough to wear with my shoes with pants. Not bulky, and comfortable. Most of the time to get warmth, you need thick wool socks, these are so nice.

Good looking flat-knit sock

This is one handsome sock. It's a low profile flat-knit sock with hardly any cushiness, except for the wonderful Smartwool weave itself. This means that it's good for loafers: not city slicker loafers--maybe these socks are a tad too thick--and maybe not lug sole loafers because they're not cushy enough for a looser fitting shoe or more rugged terrain. That said, these are my favorite ordinary socks, and the design and heathery colors fit right into my casual wardrobe.
