Walk like a Norwegian

These are handsome thicker but flat-knit socks that scream of weekend cabin in the woods, plaid Pendleton shirts and country oxfords. (They are slightly thicker but more refined looking than the Smartwool Eurocushion.) I love these socks, but I'm not the giftee. The giftee, a fine old Southern gentleman, sniffs at the country pretentions of this sock. He far prefers the slightly thinner Smartwool workhorse sock, The Express, formerly known by a lot of names, including the most-recognized & revered, Casual Walk.
