I had been a big Smartwool fan for many years, and it saddens me to see the quality of their products deteriorates over time. Compared to past Smartwools, these socks are thin, loosely-knit and just not worth the price.

These socks are great. I am glad I spent the money on them. I went to Europe just recently and took these with me. I must have walked 10 miles a day there. These socks kept my feet warm and comfortable on the coldest days.
