I liked the shoe very much. An 8 1/2 should have sufficed. The shoes felt a little narrow, but they were comfortable enough. The Skechers were so comfortable, I cooked in them when I came home. The Skechers are steel toed. They could just be a little more loose around my little toe. Womens 9 does not equals a man's 7 1/2 it should be a size 9.

Did you ever come home from work, and after removing your shoes slip into your favorite pair of slippers? Well, that's exactly how these shoes felt when I first put them on. They are true to size and very comfortable. These shoes are heavier than normal because of the steel toes, but wearing them you don't notice. These shoes are rugged and look good on.

It took about a week to "break in" these shoes, but after that they became very comfortable. I work in a warehouse and spend much of my day walking on concrete floors. I would recommend this shoe to anyone that works in the same type of environment. One thing I don't like is that the soles tread pattern seems to gather snow (I live in the Great lakes region), and it kind of builds up on the tread. Other than that, it's a great shoe and I will buy them again.

My hubby finally took my advice and decided to find out if Skechers were as comfortable from the get-go as I'd been telling him. To say the least, he loves them now too!! He is impressed, much to my enjoyment, as I told him so. I've made a believer out of him. His next pair will also have the familiar "S" emblazoned on them!!

I was looking for a steel toe sneaker shoe but everything I looked at on the Internet looked like the regular blah style steel toework shoe. I wanted a good-looking sport sneaker style which I found at Shoebuy.com. The price was affordable so I ordered it. When it arrived it was exactly as I had hoped for. The fit was perfect and it's comfortable. No one will know that it's a steel toe Sneaker. Skechers makes a great steel toe sneaker.
Wears this shoe: just about whenever I want too. Its a sneaker but a safety toe sneaker
