This shoe is also comfortable as well as stylish! It has a padded collar and tongue, a soft fabric lining and cushioned insole. The firm polyurethane frame supports and stabilizes the foot. The shock absorbing Kinetic Wedge midsole and stabilized two-part midsole provide superior comfort. It has an OSHA compliant slip resistant rubber outsole for traction. This sneaker even has an ASTM Mark II rated electrical hazard safe design!

Im on my third pair of shape ups...i work for home depot and i walk 8 to 10 miles a day at work..these are the only shoes i have found that allow me to work a full day without my feet aching . Before i started wearing the shapeups i would have to put on a different pair of shoes at lunch..

I work 12-15 hour days on a hard concrete floor, thus I have multiple knee and back problems. These shoes leave me feeling less weary and in pain than I have been in a long time!

Best Shoe Ever for Long Term Foot/Ankle Injury March 05, 2013

I have owned both a walking shoe and a pair of shape up sandles for a couple of years now. I have tried ALL KINDS AND PRICES of shoes to hopefully find one that will diminish my pain in my left foot and ankle due to an auto accident that I was in in January of 2008. My entire foot was blown off my leg, destroying both the ankle and about 8" of both leg bones. The BROOKS ARMY MEDICAL CENTER PHYSICIANS managed to use cadaver ankle assembly and a portion of the two leg bones to fuse my foot back to my leg.All is well now with the exception that I live with extreme walking pain at all times. My Sketcher Shape Up shoes are the ONLY SHOES that I can now wear while minimizing the walking pain. What they do is transfer body weight from the heel to the instep which enables me to function so much better. Also, the curved back quadrant of the heel assembly is GREAT for reducing the PAIN in my foot when I step on it,
