Shape-ups XW have a low profile Extended Wear design perfect for walking, standing and extended casual wear. This Mary Jane inspired shoe has cool stitching details, contrast edging, and an embossed subtle Shape-ups logo on side tab. They feature a dressier look with a subtle suede overlay detail. The adjustable instep strap allows for easy on/off and a perfect fit. The padded collar and tongue, as well as the cushioned insole, shock absorbing Kinetic Wedge midsole and the stabilized two-part midsole provide superior comfort. This Mary Jane features a rocker bottom design for natural gait and added support. It even has a flexible rubber outsole for traction.

Hugely comfortable from the first time I wore them! Going up and down stairs and driving with this shoe on takes a little getting used to, but that's the only negative. I love these shoes enough to get a second pair in a different color.

I have needed to wear rocker bottom shoes for many years to accommodate an ankle-foot orthosis I wear, and the choices I had very limited and UGLY! Imagine my delight when rocker bottom shoes became a fitness fad and now not only do i have choices but spiffy choices! I finally have shoes to wear with skirts that look nicer than the "frankenstein" ones I had before. I have no doubt that some folks feel that 62 is a tad too old to be wearing shiny gun metal Mary Jane shoes but they literally put spring in my step, and a smile in my face! I'm still on the lookout for shoes more suitable for "grown up" occasions but for now I'll just have to go with my inner child!
