Love the light weight, and the mesh top keeps your foot cool. Great to wear with or without socks (and I don't normally wear shoes without socks)

As an active 72 year old retired firefighter who walks at least five miles daily, a comfortable, reasonably priced shoe is very important to me. My recent purchase (also my first) fits my needs perfectly.
Wears this shoe: Daily for my five mile minimum walk.

My wife bought a pair of these, and she really liked them. So I thought I'd try them out. First, they are really different than any show I've ever worn. I have flat feet, and these gave support on the middle of my foot. Not arch support, but flat bottom support--and comfort too. They don't feel like they have a heel. They are light weight too. They are best for walking on concrete such as the big box stores or car show expo, etc. And I'm now wearing them for power walking too. I walk a 3.8 mile road course that includes hills, asphalt and gravel roads. These shoes handle the terrain with ease and real comfort. Going down hill usually causes my toes to jam into the front of most shoes. Not so, with these, because of how my foot hits the ground. Because of the design you can feel a difference in your leg muscles. Maybe even some toning that you won't get with a regular shoe. Hopefully, Sketchers won't change a good thing that they have going.

I am on concrete floors for 10 hours a day. My feet really take a beating. These shoes help greatly. It's like walking on cotton. Love it. Tried 1 pair, went back and bought 3 more pairs!
