I was excited to wear this shoe for my long walks. It's a completely different feel than my regular Nike running shoes. They keep the heel at the back of the shoe which makes you use your stride to propel you forward and, in turn, makes you work a bit harder than normal. I no longer run so cannot comment on these for running purposes but I do enjoy them for my power walks. They are a bit clunkier than I am used to but the fit is good and I do recommend them overall.
