Very cheaply made and of poor build quality

This is very cheaply made shoe and has an almost "toy like" feel to it. If all you need is a slipper inside the house, or maybe a trip to the store then this will be ok, but I would not recommend it for extended use. I certainy did not expect this from a Sketchers shoe.
Wears this shoe: Because of the lack of sturdiness, only around the house.
Yard shoe - deficient

Like the material and fit, plus the interior padding. Dislike the exterior stiffness, lack of flexibility on my foot - it slips at the heel due to stiffness. Shoe was bought to replace a pair of worn out CROC's which always felt too big and loose, but I now recognize that the Croc's 'sling back' feature provides some flexibility on my foot and allows it to stay on my foot, whereas the stiff, board-like feel of the Skechers Duncan slides off my heel and wears out my socks!
Wears this shoe: Sparingly; in the yard and around the house when working on chores.
Decent shoe, but excellent at the price!

I purchased this shoe because my work (inpatient psych unit) leads me to need something that won't let body fluids soak through the material. Thus, the rubberized slip on from Skechers! :) It's pretty tough (already put through a lot) but leaves a bit to be desired on the comfort level. The sides rub my foot a bit uncomfortably and the overall shoe feels a bit smaller than the size would denote (I'd suggest ordering a full size larger than you need). The air vents, however, do a great job at helping to ventilate my foot but are small enough not to cause me concern about getting something inside the shoe...Overall, for the price, I'd probably buy another pair.
Wears this shoe: When working at an inpatient psychiatric unit.

Great kitchen shoe

I've had three pairs of this shoe as my everyday work shoe over the last five years. They last a long time, feel great, and the top has saved me many times from boiling water or scalding grease. I love it as a kitchen clog. Having worked in professional kitchens for the last 15 years, I can honestly say this is the first shoe I've ever worn that doesn't leave my feet aching after standing on them for 13 hours a night. Also, there is no nasty foot odor that you usually associate with rubber clogs, at least not for me. The only problem I have with the shoe is that in the pair I bought in March 2009 there are now two little air holes on the big toe side of the shoe, ostensibly to provide coolness, I assume. This prevents me from standing in the four inches of water in the dish pit without getting my socks wet, as one could with the older design. Oh, another great thing about these is that the insole easily pops out, then you can run them trough the dishwasher when you, say, spill gumbo all over them.
Wears this shoe: Work, restaurant kitchen
