I love these shoes. Skechers discontinued the Ripsaw, then came out with the Mariner, which is somehow different, but for the life of me, aside from a tiny difference in the tongue label, I can't figure out how. Altogether, I have owned three or four pairs over the last 9 years or so. I still have my first pair, and they are my favorite work shoes.
Wears this shoe: Whenever. They go good with jeans or khakis

I have bought a half dozen of these shoes over the past few years and have found them to be the best wearing/performing shoe for my job. I work pushing heavy containers on pavement (garbage containers) and having these shoes on makes my job much more comfortable. The grip tread works well and oily substances on the sole clean off easily. They are very comfortable new right out of the box! I recommend this shoe in any heavy work environment and hope Skechers keeps producing these as they are my favorite.
