I bought these for my 5 year old to wear during the spring/summer and around the water. We had just bought him a pair of sneakers which he LOVED, so I really thought he would only wear these when we went to the pool, etc, or after his sneakers wore out, but he LOVES these shoes and prefers them over all his other shoes. He wears them to school every day, and all weekend. They clean up easily, too, which is a bonus. They come with cute decorative attachments which was a welcome surprise.

My son loves his Skechers and says they don't hurt his feet. He wore out the last ones completely. I was so happy to find them here that I bought two pairs. He was so excited.

I was grateful that they seemed to be just a littlewider to me than a regular. Because my grandon wears a wide width I went a half size up to accomodate the fit. Now I realize that wasn't necessary. The plus is, he will have them a little longer. He loves them. They are his first choice for foot wear. I really like this style over the sling-back models because it is a total shoe with velcro closers, affording the ability to run and play without coming off. My grandson loves them because they feel good to walk in and they have super characters.
