I bought these in Natural, and they are so cute and comfortable. I have a wide foot and I find Sketchers to run narrow/small, so I ordered up a size. They fit great though will be snug with socks (I wear a 6 wide, and I got a 7). I love the height on these and the width of the top of the boot. Perfect to tuck in skinny jeans or you could wear with bootcut pants with them. Either or. The tie is just for looks - the site says 'cinchable' but it really doesn't tighten, at least on my pair. Maybe when they break in it will. The "sweater" part is not too flimsy because the lining is pretty thick. More structured than it looks. The sole is just a little thicker than "normal". I wouldn't call it a lug sole or platform. The winters are mild here, so this boot should be perfect. I would call it more of a fashion boot then hard weather boot. Would be very cute in colors other than earth tones! Overall these are really cute,comfy and a good bargain.
