Definitely not a running shoe but they felt good as soon as I put them on. Nice flexibility with the stretchy laces. Relatively easy to slip-on. A little more sparkly than I realized.

These sneakers are just what my fashion-conscious 2nd grader needed! They are cute, yet practical enough for her to wear to school for every day. They slide on easily and stay put when she's running. I'm hoping they are as tough as other Sketchers we've owned - so far, so good.
