Very comfortable shoe. Fits my foot like a glove and gives lots of support while walking on the hard cement floor all day. No more pain in the heel, arch or metatarsals. Just wish it was steel or safety toe.

Don't ever want another shoe that is not a Merrell!

I had previously bought several pairs of the Merrell Jungle mocs in brown and black unbuckling leather. They are undoubtedly the most comfortable shoes I've ever had so I decided to try the Olmecs. I was not disappointed. I found the Olmecs to be a little heavier than the Mocs but just as comfortable a fit. I am hopeful that the Vibam sole will last a long time as I know the rest of the shoe will. I would certainly buy again. The only thing about the Olmec that I was not entirely pleased with was that I found them cause my feet to get slightly over warm. The leather may just not allow much air circulation, but this is not something I find with the Mocs. I have a feeling the Olmecs will become my winter weather (non snowy weather) shoes and I will use the Mocs for the warmer seasons.

Very Good shoe

The shoe is very comfortable with lots of padding and no laces are the best part of the shoe ! Its sizing was also perfect and I wear this shoe pretty much everywhere I go. I wear this the whole day and it feels very light despite the shoe being somewhat heavy when held in hand.I like the design of the shoe very much - the way they have put mesh in between the shoe body is very good. The Vibram sole looks extremely durable and I notice no wear out over last 1 month even though I walk and bike almost 5-6 miles everyday to work wearing them. Unfortunately, they were made to suffer a downpour once and I thought the external velvet like shoe surface would have got bad but even after getting fully soaked, the shoes look almost the same when they came out of the box . Looks like it will last for years !

Great Hiking Shoe

I have had this shoe for six months now and I must say this has been the reason for making me a Merrell fan. This shoe has been very comfortable (no blisters ever !) and has the right stability for going on a rocky hike. I have done almost 10 day long hikes and the shoe and sole hold up very well. I just clean it with dry kitchen towel followed by kitchen towel with mild detergent and another dry run with kitchen towel and voila, it comes of as almost new even after all the dirt collection in the hike ! Looking forward to more hikes this.

I work inside and outside. I am hard on boots. These boots are 3 weeks old now, they are great still. The gortex is nice here in the spring(wet, muddy). Extremely comfortable boot with Vibram sole. Boots are expensive, but you can't put a price on your feet comfort at the end of a long day. They are worth their weight in gold if you value your feet.
