Stick rubber, great cushion for mountain downhill, medial plate, very spacious, durable very breathable and allows water to escape fast.Runs 1 full size too big compared to other NB shoes.I use this shoe for AT running and anything over 12 miles or so. Otherwise, I run with the Patagonia Forerunner without the medial plate and the extra cushion.

I own 7 pairs of Merrells. These are super lightweight and a very comfortable shoe. As with all Merrells, they are true to size. Great shoe for casual wearing or if you are on your feet all day.

Both my husband and I are runners and we've been wearing these shoes for a couple of years now. Same shoes, same sizes, we just get new ones every few hundred miles and they're great.
