| | About Derby Shoes: |
|---|
| | | Derby shoes, also referred to as Bluchers, are a type of men's shoe characterized by an open lacing system as opposed to the v-shape, closed lacing found in balmoral shoes. In derby shoes the quarters are sewn on each side of the vamp creating two separate flaps that provide the tabs for the eyelets. These opposing tabs, or lacestays, can then be brought together with the laces to fasten the shoe. Derby shoes are available in a variety of styles including plain toe, cap toe, moc toe, and wingtips. |
