The shoe itself looks fantastic; nice shiny leather, very classy. The sole of the shoe is real leather and would be great for dancing but VERY slippery on different surfaces. I have flat feet and when I put my orthotic support in, the shoe was VERY tight all around. A deal breaker for me.

I was looking for a nice all-purpose black, leather shoe, and got it. It looks slightly less elegant than the image, specifically that the 3E width makes it look a bit clunky. It fits reasonably well, but is slightly oversized to the extent that they are a bit too big unless worn with wool socks. If you are on the fence regarding width, it would seem best to underestimate slightly.

The leather finish is very dull, and doesn't polish to a shine well at all; and the top part of the heel is hard, and tough where it hugs the back of the foot. Adequate, but I don't know that I would buy them again.

I think this shoe runs large, in that I purchased a 41 and I think I would normally be in a 42.5 or 43 according to online conversions of US to EUR sizes. I had a pair already so I simply bought another of the same size in black. I have had the first pair for at least 8 years and I really really love them. They're built very well and have been re-soled a couple times and ready for another new sole.
