Great quality but bigger than expected

I have a couple pairs of the 1460 in smooth leather, so I purchased my usual size (UK 6). This leather however, is a lot softer and stretched out, so it felt at least a size larger than normal.

I didn't expect much from this boot, but since I have very large feet, I don't have a lot to choose from. I work in large apple orchards, so I walk a lot and in dirt, mud, tall weeds and grass, high temperatures and wet conditions. I demand a lot from my boots.I am surprised to love these boots. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I love the way you can tighten all the laces from the top with one pull (no working your way from bottom to top to get it all snug). I love how easily these boots slip on and off without undoing a bunch of laces. These boots are extremely breathable and extremely waterproof.My only criticism so far is that the construction of the left and right boot is cosmetically different where the upper meets the sole. I don't really care how they look, because they are performing great and my feet haven't been this happy in a work boot in a long time.
