These shoes are good first shoes as their soles are not too thick. My 18 month old likes to wear them after her Robeez. She is able to undo the velcro but this does not make the shoe loose enough to come off or uncomfortable for her to walk so that has not been a problem. She can walk, run around and sit on the floor comfortably with these shoes.
Wears this shoe: 8 hours a day to day care
