We purchased these to go with my son's Halloween costume and then for later use. He loves them and people compliment them all the time. (They coordinated awesomely with his Spiderman costume, too!). They are light weight and are holding up well so far (only a few weeks of wear though). Very pleased with this purchase.

Cute but not easy to put on for a 5 year old

My son loves these shoes and they look great, however, he cannot put them on by himself. He has been putting on his own shoes for years, yet it is difficult for him to secure these shoes on his feet. The strap has to wrap around the ankle securely to lock them in place.

My son loves the sneakers, and with his wide feet I'm happy stride rite made them in wide. The only problem we have come across is that we had to teach him to use a shoe horn so he could put them on.
