I work in a wet underground mine and wear these boots 8 to 10 hours a day. I walk an average of 3 to 5 miles a day and good boots are a must. These boots last longer than any other boot I've worn. They last 6 months and while that may not sound like much most other boots I've tried only last 2 to 3 months at best and I've tried many other brands. If you need a good long lasting pair of rubber steel toe boots you can't bet these LaCrosse Meta-Pac.

These are a very comfortable, excellent traction on slippery surfaces and seem to last a lot longer than other brands and styles I have bought in the past. They meet all safety requirements my company requires. Very pleased with these shoes.

I have a very wide foot and it is hard for me to find a decent looking shoe that fits well. I am on my feet most of the day so I need comfort as well as a professional appearance. This shoe looks and fits well. My feet are comfortable the entire day. The price was also fair.

I wanted a decent pair of shiny patent leather shoes to wear with my tuxedo at my recent wedding vs. the super cheap plastic kind the rental places give you that kill your feet/ankles. I bought my tux, so I know I will need shoes to wear again, so I found these Bates shoes online. If you are looking for something comfortable and shiny dress, these may be for you. I will say that they are the military style, so the sole is heavy duty and the shoes weighs more than a traditional dress shoe you may wear for work. All in all, I am very satisfied and glad I was able to find a great shoe to wear at my wedding that was comfortable. A shoe like this makes a big difference in the appearance of your wedding tux photos, so complete your look.
