I find the MO 1099 difficult to get on because where the opening at the top of the shoe is too tight for my instep to fit through easily. Once you struggle to get it on if feels alright around the foot. The size and width are OK but if you tie the ankle laces tight the shoe hurts my ankle. I tried to tie them looser and it seems to work better for me. They seem to be well made but a lot of work to get on. I've not tried them in the woods yet.

My new shoes are very comfortable and true to size with ample room in both width and length. They are also quite handsome.
Wears this shoe: For walking and for travel. The very nice appearance is good for day and night.

My husband has had a few different styles of Chaco sandals over the years and has found this style to be one of his favorites. He wears them for everyday type use, as well as camping and hiking. They are comfortable and resilient to different terrains. Worth the price that they cost.
