N.Z Park Ranger

Needed boots that could cope with working in a variety of terrain as a Park Ranger. These boots have been comfortable enough but are quite a narrow fit, also the rear heal is rounded which lessens grip while walking down hill over uneven ground. Overall these boots have lasted better than other brands. Have worn them for 1 year.

Defective, Not Worthy

A true work boot should last at least one year. These did not even last 5 months before the leather started separating from the soles and the soles started splitting in several places. If you are looking for style, these are nice but they are NOT true work boots.

I liked these because easy access through internet instead of running to the stores. Also, you had exactly what I was looking for in boots. I would definitely buy from Shoe Buy again.

This is a great sturdy shoe. I needed a casual shoe with good support and this does it. I marked it as true to size because it doesn't feel a half size off; maybe just barely a quarter size smaller. It does feel narrower than expected, but I'm happy with that because that's what contributes to the great support. But beware; although they are comfortable, they are VERY heavy shoes!

I really want to like this shoe. The idea of a steel toe that could seamlessly transition from the job site to the conference room was very appealing. These shoes are heavy, but most steel toe shoes/boots are, so I wasn't too upset about that. However, the steel toe hits the top of my toes more than most others I have owned, creating some discomfort. Worst part is that the tongue has these little sideflaps that attach them to the top of the shoe, presumably to keep out water. However, the thickness of these flaps creates a bulge on between the top of you foot and the underside of the shoe top that HURTS. If I wear these for more than two days in a row I can barely walk. I have worn them for about a month hoping to break them in, but they seem to get more and more uncomfortable. Wish I could return them but I may just have to eat the cost on these ones since Shoebuy's policy only allows returns on unworn shoes. :( The only pair of uncomfortable Dr. Martens I have ever owned.
