This shoe is sort of in the middle of athletic shoes and skate shoes. My son loves them because they are comfortable to move in. He likes them more than the athletic shoes and skate shoes he's had in the past. I love them because they are black and don't "look" extremely dirty after he runs through the dirt with them. So far, so good! Plus, you can't beat the price we got them on Shoebuy.com. Love this site!
