Great looking and great fitting boys shoe that also comes in wide sizes, but unfortunately, is NOT leather anywhere on the shoe, and after one month of wear, will fray and fall apart. After calling customer service, you cannot then return them if you do not have the original box. Plus, you may get a discussion about "knowing if a shoe is leather or not". False leather advertising.

These shoes remind me of my trusty Keds when I was little. The soles are thick but malleable and the weathered gray canvas uppers give them a modern edge. Great price, got them fast. Definitely recommend.

These shoes attracted me because of the width (marked MW.)At first, I thought the shoes were too narrow, and I thought I'd have to send them back, but am very glad I didn't!First, they have an adjustable insole system to sort of customize them to the foot. What it is is two layers you can either take out, or layer accordingly to fit.Secondly, (and for me, the most important) is the type of leather used for the uppers. I've had my 7 year old in them for a few months now and not only did the leather mold to his feet quickly, it's more durable than any other leather shoe he's worn. The leather is dyed completely through (as it should be) but it's hard to find this quality in other brands. I've had more expensive shoes where the leather upper would chip or scuff off- not these.The instep is supportive but not hindering, and the soles are perfect; not too thick so the feet can't bend, and not too thin to wear out the shoe. I do not think he'll wear them out- he'll grow out of them before they'll wear out.By the way, these shoes look fantastic, too. He can (and does) wear them with everything from trousers to jeans and look impeccably dressed.I am so glad I didn't return them! These will be reordered and reordered as he grows. You just can't find a better shoe.

I bought this shoe for my 10 yr old son, who has been wearing this same style shoe since he was 7. He wears them every day to school and the shoe is very durable. Depending on how much growth I have to accommodate for, he can wear the same pair for almost two years. They are his favorite shoes for comfort reasons as well and wears them for every occasion I allow him to.
