I love my Finn sandals. I must wear my orthotics and need a closed-back sandal. The Baltrum fits the bill. Also, I love the support that the Baltrum gives. I am tall and plus-sized, so I need good support. I wear the shoe for all my casual needs, even wearing it sometimes with heavy socks in the winter. I would love to have some closed-in Finns but the women's shoes stop at size 43 and I need a 44. I recently ordered an extra pair "just in case."

I couldn't wait to write a review about this PF Flyer shoe since I have been so impressed with the shoe..!1. I purchased the natural color and it really has that retro look, a great summer color but they all look good.2. The fit is perfect if you plan on wearing a mid to heavy sock.. I like a little room and over the years I have learned NOT to buy shoes, especially athletic or walking shoes too tight. The shoe seams a bit long but understand, it has a rubber bumper on the front, so that makes the shoe seem a little larger...My opinion stick with your normal size and pick up some walking socks like the ones that have some padding in the toe and heel.. The medium to heavy weight walking socks really add to the comfort and cushioning effect.3.The look reminds me of my childhood days in the late 50's early 60's when you just had to have a pair of PF Flyers.. You know those commercials about running faster, jumping higher..!4.You won't believe how comfortable these shoes are and the cushion they have for a canvas gym shoe..Really nice..Have a little fun like like me an old timer and put on a pair of retro shoes from the past... PF Flyers!

Danner Striker Torrent Side-Zip GTX 8"

I already owned several pairs of Danner boots and decided to try the black GTX with side zipper. I wear a medium but these Danner's were a bit too snug. I was afraid there wouldn't be enough stretch and didn't want to risk it with boots this expensive. I returned them and had Shoebuy replace them with a wide pair. These fit much better and I'm expecting them to last a long time. The quality of the materials is first rate as is the craftsmanship. It's evident when looking them over or wearing them. I've only been wearing them off and on for a few weeks and will report back if any problems crop up. I also wear Danner TFX Hot boots and a couple different Wolverine styles so I don't usually wear the same boots on consecutive days. I was surprised to need a wide in this boot so you might want to try and find a pair locally and try them on before ordering. Shoebuy was great in handling the return and replacement but even when the process goes smoothly, it's still a hassle.

Birkenstock Arizona Suede with High Arch

I have a very high arched foot and these are the only shoes I wear around the house, year around. I have foot pain also, but once I put these shoes on, they do not hurt. This is the 3rd pair of high arch Birkenstocks I've bought..I hope they keep making this style for a long time.
Wears this shoe: Every day, around the house. The minute I get up I put them on.
