It seems that since Aetrex changed the name of this shoe from Aetrex to Apex that the quality of the shoe has changed. I don't think it has the same level of support it did under the previous name.

I bought this shoe for my grandad who is 78. I wanted something nice for him since he has diabetes and poor circulation. I was not disappointed these are now the only shoes he wears. I have bought him 3 pairs now so he always has a nice new pair because he even wears them with his suit!
