I had no idea New Balance made anything more 'shoe-ie' than their wide assortment of running and walking shoes. THESE are amazing! Look beautiful on, don't feel or look so clunky with non-athletic apparel ... and I would recommend them to everyone!

My son, age 18 now, has worn a size 17 shoe for 3yrs. It's difficult to find stylish every day shoewear for a reasonable price. He loves the PF Flyer/Converse/Chuck Taylor style, but rips out of regular Chuck Taylors rather quickly. The Grounders are more durable, appropriate for daily wear in the winter weather of Wisconsin with their rugged soles. Love these shoes, only wish is that they were available in black leather!
