Perfect for swollen feet after surgery

I purchased this shoe because of the extremely wide opening so my spouse could get them on his swollen feet. As the swelling decreased, the velco straps allowed us to adjust the fit so the shoes can still be worn. My spouse said the shoes are believably comfortable; they are attractive, too. Would definitely recommend them!

This was my first purchase of the Asics brand. Have heard what a good shoe they are and I now must agree.Good looking shoe that's fits as advertised and very comfortable to wear. Only time will tell if they stand the test of time but at this stage very happy. I purchased a pair for my son in law as well and he's very happy too.

Looks can be deceiving, and in this case, the pictures on the internet didn't reflect the materials used when I opened the package. I thought it would be suede material, but it turned out to be more like a velvet finish over a cardboard-like base. The bottom of the shoe feels hard and unyielding, which isn't conducive to comfort. I had intended on returning this product, but time ran out and I was too busy. I also purchased a similar pair in a different style (Arider AR3011), and at least this pair didn't squeak like the other pair.

We bought this as my husband's regular full leather New Balance was not available in his size. Although the size and comfort is very good, the mesh is not a good idea. The mesh gets very dirty from road dust, etc. and you cannot clean it. Future purchases will be the all leather.
