The pictures don't do it justice! Although, it feels a tiny bit wider than a medium width, for me that means it won't rub a blister. For others that may be a problem. I haven't worn them yet as I bought them in anticipation of Spring, but they really are a good looking shoe and look forward to wearing them for a long time. I have some Trotters short boots for wearing with pants that I have been wearing for years and I expect these to last as long!
Wears this shoe: I will wear this shoe to work.
