I have owned several pairs of Sebago loafers. This is the first pair that does not have leather soles. I no longer wear shoes daily for work. Even though I will wear these much less often, I do wonder if this new sole and heel material will wear as well as the other Sebagos I have owned.

The description did not indicate the type of sole or heel. I could not tell that from this picture. The last pair I purchased had leather soles - this pair did not.

Love the waterproof sole. The shoe is still lightweight. I continue to reach for the leather-soled Sebagos I already own, especially for more formal occasions, but I will be replacing them slowly with these all-weather shoes.

Classic Bass Weejun style design but with the twist of a relatively unobtrusive rubber sole. Shoe looks good and rubber sole gives good grip and provides excellent cushioning. Shoe is a little stiff and inflexible at first but improves upon wearing in. Comes in narrow sizes too.
