This shoe felt a little stiff at first. It also feels wider than it should which causes the heel to slip on my right (smaller) foot. However, I do have very narrow feet. The shoes are well made using nice quality leather. The website advised buying a half size smaller than usual since the shoe runs large. I failed to heed this advice and perhaps would be better satisfied had I gotten the size 8 rather than the 8 1/2.

These are to replace a VERY well worn pair of the same basic sebagos I wear all summer. Once their newness wears off, get wet a few times, and start to mold to my feet, I am sure they will completely replace my old ones for many years to come.

I have worn Docksiders for years. They are so comfortable and can be worn without socks. They don't rub on your feet ever. They are the best!
